Do students need to download anything?
No. Inductio runs in WhatsApp, which the overwhelming majority of students already use daily. There's no orientation app to download, no account to create, and no login to forget — which is precisely why completion rates beat campus apps that get opened once and deleted.
How does it help with student welfare and early engagement?
The completion log shows which students have physically located student support and welfare services — and which haven't engaged with orientation at all by the end of week one. That's an early-warning signal for support teams, available in the first week rather than after the first missed deadline.
Can it cover compliance content like lab safety and halls fire briefings?
Yes — stops can carry required-completion questions: fire assembly points at halls of residence, safety rules at laboratory buildings, sports facility rules at the gym. The per-student record then evidences who completed each requirement, which most universities currently cannot show.
Does it work for international students arriving outside freshers week?
Well — that's one of the strongest cases. Late arrivals and January starters get the identical orientation experience whenever they arrive, without anyone re-running tours for a handful of people. WhatsApp is also typically already installed and familiar for international students.
How is student data handled?
Inductio is GDPR-by-design: it processes name, progress, and answers — nothing more — under a data processing agreement with the university. Records can be exported to your student systems and deleted on request. No tracking beyond the orientation itself.
