Healthcare & Hospitality
Consistent induction across every department.
High turnover, multiple departments, shifting rotas. Inductio keeps the standard consistent — without adding to any member of staff's workload.

The problem
What induction looks like today.
High turnover means constant reinduction
Every new starter needs a full walk of the site. With high turnover, that's a recurring time cost that falls on whoever is available.
Different departments, different standards
The pharmacy team briefs differently to the ward team. Consistency is impossible when every induction depends on who leads it that day.
Compliance records are a manual effort
Keeping a log of who was inducted, when, and to what standard involves paper forms, chasing, and filing. It shouldn't.
Why this sector
Built for sites where the standard has to survive the rota
In healthcare and hospitality, induction quality is hostage to the rota. The person who gives the best site walk isn't always on shift when a new starter arrives, and bank, agency, and weekend starts often get the thinnest version of the briefing — in exactly the environments where infection control, medication security, and safeguarding rules are least forgiving. Inductio removes the dependency: the same route, the same department-specific questions, and the same standard, whoever is working that day.
It also changes what you can evidence. When the CQC, an EHO, or your own quality team asks how new staff are inducted, a signed checklist says the process existed. An Inductio log shows each starter stood in the pharmacy, the ward, or the kitchen, was asked the questions that apply there — infection control, COSHH, food safety, patient privacy — and answered them correctly, with timestamps. That's evidence of understanding, department by department.
How Inductio works on a healthcare site
A guided walk through every stop. Verified at every step.
- 01
They get a WhatsApp link before their first shift
No app, no account, no IT request. Permanent, bank, and agency staff all get the same link and the same standard — whichever day or shift they start on.
- 02
The guide walks them through every department
The AI guide narrates the route — wards, pharmacy, sterile services, staff hub — and pings the right department lead as the starter approaches. Introductions happen face to face.
- 03
Department-specific questions, logged
The medication store asks about access and logging. The ward asks about patient privacy and infection control. The kitchen asks about allergens. Each answer is scored and timestamped where it was given.
- 04
Location challenges confirm presence
Each stop ends with a task only possible standing there — locating the spill kit, reading the fire action notice. Presence is verified, not assumed.
- 05
A completion card for every starter
At the end, each starter receives a branded completion card with their name, score, time, and every department visited. The record files itself.

How Inductio helps
What induction looks like with Inductio.
Same route, same questions, every time
Inductio runs the same induction regardless of who's on shift. Every new starter covers the same ground and answers the same questions.
Department-specific H&S built in
Questions are triggered by location. The medication store gets COSHH questions. The ward gets patient privacy questions. Relevant, contextual, logged.
Compliance records generated automatically
Every run produces a complete record — no paper, no chasing. Export whenever you need it.
Common questions
Questions from healthcare & hospitality teams.
How does Inductio work for bank and agency staff?
Identically to permanent staff — that's the point. There are no accounts or apps, so an agency worker starting a Saturday night shift gets the same link, walks the same route, and answers the same department questions as a permanent hire starting on Monday morning. Their record sits in the same log.
Can the induction include infection control and medication security content?
Yes — questions are written per department with your leads during setup. The medication store asks about authorised access and logging; clinical areas ask about hand hygiene and PPE; kitchens ask about allergen handling. Each question is asked in the place it applies and logged with a timestamp.
Does the record help with CQC or EHO evidence?
It gives you a per-starter log showing which departments they physically visited, what they were asked in each, and how they answered — exportable on demand. That demonstrates induction by understanding rather than by attendance sheet, which is a materially stronger evidential position in an inspection conversation.
Our staff work across multiple sites. Does it scale?
Each site gets its own route, questions, and host list, under one account. A starter moving between sites completes the local route for each — and your dashboard shows completion status across all of them. Adding a site is a configuration exercise, not a new deployment.
How much staff time does each induction take?
Near zero beyond the host introductions themselves. The guide handles navigation, narration, questions, and logging; department leads are pinged only when a starter actually approaches, and each meeting is a few minutes. Nobody spends a morning walking a new starter around — the run is self-paced.
Is patient and staff data handled appropriately?
Inductio is GDPR-by-design: it collects what the induction needs — name, progress, answers — and nothing else. No patient data is involved at any point. Records are exportable and deletable on request, and data processing terms are part of every deployment.
Inductio also runs on universities & freshers week and manufacturing & logistics sites.
